Cowichan Web Co. is run by Arnaud in the Cowichan Valley, British Columbia. This page explains what happens to information shared through this website.

When you contact me

The enquiry form asks for your name, email, business name, an optional website address and your message. I use these details to respond, understand your project and manage our conversation. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

How your message is delivered

The site is hosted by Netlify. Form submissions are processed by a Netlify server function and delivered by email using Resend to my business email account, hosted by Namecheap Private Email and forwarded to Gmail. These providers process information to deliver and store our correspondence. Processing may occur outside Canada.

The website does not keep submissions in a separate website database. Emails and related provider records may remain in the services used for correspondence. I keep correspondence as needed to respond, manage projects and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. You can ask me about or request deletion of your enquiry.

Cookies, analytics and hosting logs

This website does not use advertising trackers, visitor analytics scripts or non-essential cookies. Fonts, images and the video preview are served from this website. The hosting provider may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site.

Links and demonstrations

Portfolio demonstrations are fictional and their booking or estimate forms do not send enquiries. Links to other websites, including Footprint of Nature, take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Your questions and requests

To ask about your information, request access or correction, ask for deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact Arnaud at hello@cowichanwebco.com. I’ll respond and explain any limits that apply to your request.
